Description:
House Dop is a low-lying, elongated Khmer house distinguished by its generous terrace and subtly tilted wooden balustrade, a charming architectural detail that gives the house its character. Located along the central pathway, it sits at the heart of Sala Lodges, close to the open-air lounge and within easy reach of the swimming pool.
Originally from the village of Pouk, north-east of Siem Reap, the house was relocated to Sala Lodges in December 2011, allowing its traditional structure to be preserved and reimagined.
Inside, the bedroom offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, where original wooden elements meet discreet modern comfort. The interior flows naturally toward the terrace, encouraging guests to linger and enjoy the gentle rhythm of life at Sala Lodges. A spacious bathroom with a walk-in rain shower completes the experience.
