House Dop Pi stands out for its distinctive two-sided roof, giving it remarkable height both inside and out.

Its name refers to the two wooden handrails adorned with beautifully carved horse heads.

Built in 1956 in Kompong Chèn, in Kompong Thom province, the house once belonged to Madame Ro Hong,

who came from a prosperous family of Chinese traders.

Now beautifully restored at Sala Lodges, the house charms with its generous proportions,

distinctive character and spacious private terrace opening onto the surrounding tropical greenery.
