House Bram Boun is distinguished by its terrace overlooking a sacred tree, where local villagers come to leave offerings. According to tradition, the tree is home to benevolent spirits who are honoured and cared for.

Built in 1984 in the village of Peak Snèng Thmèy, north of Siem Reap, the house once belonged to Peng Chay and Sam Cheam, a farming family. It was carefully dismantled and rebuilt at Sala Lodges in 2011.
